Privacy

This Privacy Notice explains how Gima Solutions Corp. (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use Gima Nexo (Gimanexo) at our website and related services. Gimanexo is a B2B network (directory, opportunities, and account features). It is not intended for consumers or children.

2. What data we process

Account data (when you register or claim a profile): name, business email, password (stored hashed), login session identifiers.
Company / consultant profile data: trade name, business description, offer/seek fields, region, sector, website URL, optional public phone, membership plan.
Directory listings (including suggested profiles): organization names and business information derived from public sources (corporate websites, official listings, documented networks). Placeholder contact addresses of the form claims+…@gimanexo.com are used until a profile is claimed; they are not shown as direct contact on public profiles unless policy allows.
Opportunities and responses: titles, descriptions, messages you publish or send on the platform, timestamps, link to your organization.
Claim verification: work email, verification tokens, optional SMS phone, optional registry documents, IP address and browser user-agent for fraud prevention.
Technical data: server logs, session cookies, language preference cookie (gimanexo_locale), cookie-notice acknowledgment, security and error logs.

3. Purposes and legal bases (EEA / UK / CH — GDPR-style)

Provide the service (directory, accounts, opportunities, claims): performance of a contract or steps prior to contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Suggested B2B listings from public sources: legitimate interest in operating a verifiable business directory, balanced against your rights (Art. 6(1)(f)); you may object or request removal (see section 8).
Security, abuse prevention, legal compliance: legitimate interest and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(f) and (c)).
Optional Member contact visibility (email/phone on profile): performance of contract / your instructions when you choose a paid or enabled plan (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Marketing emails (if we send them in future): consent or soft opt-in where permitted, with unsubscribe.

4. Who receives data

We use hosting, email delivery, and (if enabled) SMS providers as processors under agreements. Admin staff of Gima Solutions Corp. may access claim review data. Opportunity responses are visible to authenticated network users as designed. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

If you access the service from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland and data is processed in the United States or other countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required. Contact privacy@gimanexo.com for details.

6. Retention

Account and profile data: while the account is active, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after closure unless law requires retention.
Claim records and uploaded documents: limited period after decision for audit and legal defense, then deleted.
Server logs: typically rolling retention (e.g. 30–90 days) unless needed for security investigations.
Suggested listings: until removed, corrected, or successfully claimed.

7. Cookies

We use:

Strictly necessary: session cookie (authentication), CSRF protection.
Preference: gimanexo_locale (language), gimanexo_cookie_ack (cookie banner dismissed).

We do not use advertising cookies in the current product version. If we add analytics later, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for consent.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port data, and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Suggested profile / directory: if your organization appears as a suggested listing, you may search the directory, use claim if you represent the business, or email privacy@gimanexo.com to request correction or removal with proof of authority.

Requests: email privacy@gimanexo.com with subject “Privacy request”. We respond within applicable deadlines (e.g. 30 days under GDPR).

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls). No method is 100% secure; report issues to hello@gimanexo.com.

We may update this notice. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
